Adana Terrell is the last unmarried Terrell sister. She doesn't believe that she is destined to meet that someone who was made just for her. Outwardly, she is a beautiful, successful attorney who has it going on. Inwardly, she is fine with that...or so she thinks. Kamau Mazrui is part of the prestigious Mazrui family, one of the wealthiest, most well-known families in Kenya. Kamau is still mourning the death of his wife and is at a lost as to how to get his life back on track other than work, but even that is not as fulfilling as it has been in the past.
On a sisters get together weekend in Kenya, Adana enlists the help of Kamau Mazrui on a case she is working on. When a storm hits Kenya, Adana and Kamau must spend the night under the same roof where they ultimately succumb to their passion. The experience changes both of them, but will secrecy and misunderstandings cause the couple to miss out on the love that they both deserve?
Stay The Night is a wonderfully written book by Chilufiya Safaa. The vivid description that the author uses paints a glorious picture of the settings where the story takes place. Safaa does a fantastic job with character development, and she also does a wonderful job of keeping the storyline flowing. Stay The Night is an awesome coming together of two different worlds in the name of love.
