Magnolia, Rebe, and Darla are best friends who are on the verge of turning 40, so they each make a pact on New Year’s Eve 2008 to sexually liberate themselves in 2009. The result is a wild and unexpected ride for all of them. Magnolia decides to look for some extracurricular fun online. Rebe decides to take some pole dancing classes which leads her down an unfamiliar road. Darla decides to open a lingerie shop, but she still has some personal demons that she needs to let go of in order to move on with her life.

Sixty-Nine is a wonderful coming-of-age story by Pynk.  This book shows that age has nothing to do with sexual enlightenment. Each of these women stepped outside of their own comfort zone in order to discover more of themselves. Pynk did a good job of showing the growth of these women throughout the book. Of course, the story is full of the classic eroticism that Pynk is known for. Sixty-Nine is a hot and seductive delight.
