After years of hard work, Adam and Evia Langston finally have it all. They have a beautiful home, wonder children and financial stability. But when the economy takes a nosedive, Adam and Evia find them on the brink of financial ruin. Evia’s boss Shay-Shaunte offers the couple a five million dollar deal to help them get back on track. But what Shay-Shaunte wants in exchange for the money will question what Evia and Adam really value in their lives.
Victoria Christopher Murray has once again brought a wonderful page-turner with The Deal, the Dance, and the Devil. This book shows what could happen when people put too much value on material things instead of valuing their personal relationships. It also shows how one decision can create havoc in a person’s life for years to come. Readers will find that this story is a perfect book club discussion choice because you’ll question what you would do in this situation. The Deal, the Dance, and the Devil is another winner from Victoria Christopher Murray.

I read the book a few months back and I agree. I definitely didn't see the twist at the end coming!
