Travon Brown is a young journalist whose career is soaring to new heights. But his personal life could use a little work. The Twist is an entertaining debut novel by James E. Causey. Causey brings us an interesting mix of characters and situations. You see how Travon is a young professional who is looking for more than just causal liaisons with women. Causey does a good job with character and storyline development. This story moves at a good pace and definitely keeps you glued to the pages. There is a surprising twist in this book and cliffhanger ending that could lead into a sequel. The Twist is a great debut novel from James E. Causey.
