NEW REVIEW : Love on the Run by Zuri Day

5 out of 5 books

Gold medal winner  track star Shayna Washington is about to become a household name if sports manager Michael Morgan has anything to do with it. Michael Morgan is one of three brothers that are absolutely gorgeous. It also doesn't hurt that they have all done well for themselves. Michael is a die hard ladies man but does not lead anyone on. He is upfront and honest about his position on not looking for anything permanent. So when he meets with his new client and helps her in a time of need, he is not sure where these strange feelings that he is having are coming from. Shayna finds her new manager sinfully sexy but knows that he probably has women everywhere. So after she is attacked by her ex boyfriend and ends up back on Michael's door step, she starts to believe that maybe she could be wrong about this playboy. Michael and Shayna go through several ups and downs with other women, her mother, and her ex, while trying to build their relationship. But in the end, they realize that trust is all they need.

Love on the Run by Zuri Day is an awesome read. The love story is so sweet and endearing, that you can't help but fall in love with Michael and Shayna. Day does an excellent job with character development and pulling you into the lives of the characters with her style of writing. There are also several subplots going on that are critical to the main plot, that Day integrates seamlessly into the main story. You won't find any lagging moments in this story either. Great read!
