NEW REVIEW : Breakfast in Bed by Rochelle Alers

3 out of 5 books

Tonya Martin has just moved to New Orleans and is ready to take the Nawlins culinary world by storm. Her only child is about to graduate from college, her parents are happily retired in Florida, and she is ready to begin her lifelong dream of owning her own restaurant. So, when she decides a friendship with the handsome chef, musician, and teacher, Gage Toussaint, she is not prepared for the sparks that ignite. Tonya has decided she doesn’t need a man to control her life, especially after her Jekyll and Hyde ex-husband. But Tonya quickly learns that, life doesn’t always go as expected and that might not be a bad thing.

Rochelle Alers is an excellent author and I love her books, especially all her family connection series. Breakfast in Bed was just an ok book for me. This particular story took a long time to unfold. I felt that there were parts that dragged on. However, if you are a Rochelle Alers fan, I would still add Breakfast in Bed to your reading list.
